The Ishango/DataQuest Data Science Scholarship for Young African Women aims to improve their Data Science knowledge and experience by taking courses on the DataQuest platform.
Scholarship recipients from across Africa will receive access to Dataquest data science courses, which will prepare them for a career in the data industry. The partnership with Dataquest will help to further Ishango.ai’s mission to put African data science talent on the global map and create data jobs in the region.

Scholarship Details:
Dataquest and Ishango.ai are proud to announce a new partnership to improve inclusivity and diversity in the data science field.
Dataquest will provide four hundred scholarships to Ishango.ai to support the growth of data science talent in Africa. Scholarship recipients from across Africa will receive access to Dataquest data science courses, which will prepare them for a career in the data industry. The partnership with Dataquest will help to further Ishango.ai’s mission to put African data science talent on the global map and create data jobs in the region.
Scholarship Requirements:
To be considered for the scholarship, you must:
- Be aspiring African female data scientists.
- Be from sub-saharan african country
- Have excellent academic records
Scholarship Duration and Reward
- This is an opportunity for you to prepare yourself for the next Ishango.ai Data Science fellowship and your future journey into Data Science.
- Dataquest will provide four hundred scholarships to Ishango.ai to support the growth of data science talent in Africa.
