The Lagos State Government has opened applications for the 2022 UNDP/LSETF Employability Support Training Project for interested residents to learn in-demand and employability skills. The programme is an opportunity for students of all categories, especially university students who have been at for more than two months.

The overall goal of this project is to increase the pool of skilled manpower in order to alleviate the acute shortages of employable labour which has forced several private sector companies in Lagos State to rely on neighbouring countries for artisans and craftsmen.
Details of 2022 UNDP/LSETF Employability Support Training Project:
The LSETF Employability Support Project is designed to help tackle the unemployment scourge among the youths by helping them gain requisite knowledge and skill through vocational training and subsequently helping them get job placements.
It aims to train 10,000 young people to gain skills in 6 sectors namely – Manufacturing, Hospitality, Entertainment, Construction, Health, and Garment Making that will help place them in line for immediate employment. The first batch of youths who were trained at 8 vocational training centers across the state has graduated.
Requirements for 2022 UNDP/LSETF Employability Support Training Project:
To be considered for the programme, you must:
- Be between 18 and 45 years
- Be a Lagos State resident.

- LASSRA Number
- Passport Photo
