2024/25 ASUU Scholarship Scheme For Nigerian Undergraduates
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is offering a ₦200,000 financial support for indigent undergraduate students enrolled in Nigerian public universities for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The scholarship seeks to help academically talented but indigent students who are enrolled in Nigerian universities with the costs of their tuition, and other related study expenses.
Eligibility Criteria for ASUU Scholarship 2024
To be considered for the ASUU Scholarship, you must:

- be indigent.
- be a registered student of a university with a recognized ASUU branch
- have a good academic performance (CGPA of 3.0 and above).
Benefits
- ₦200,000 will be awarded to 2 students from each university provided they are registered branches of the union.
- This fund is to support applicant’s tuition, accommodation, and living stipends.
Required Documents
To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;
- Application Form
- An application letter, not more than two (2) pages which must include the following:
- Name of candidate
- Course and year of study
- State of origin
- Why you believe you are the most qualified for the award
- The applicant’s letter must be accompanied by the following:
- A photocopy of the candidate’s current identity card
- A letter from the candidate’s current Head of Department including current information on the candidate’s CGPA for the preceding academic session
- copy of the candidate’s registration form for the current semester
- Two (2) current passport photographs.

To apply:
- Gather all your required documents.
- Proceed to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) secretariat in your institution to submit them.
