2024 John Monash Scholarship for Excellence
The John Monash Scholarship for Excellence is offering a $40,000 award payable over a period of four years as support towards the cost of studies for eligible international students pursuing undergraduate programs.
Awardees will also receive an invitation to apply for a place in Monash Minds, a leadership program for first-year students.
The John Monash Scholarship for Excellence is offered to the 10 highest-achieving international students studying Australian Year 12 or International Baccalaureate in Australia.
If you have an ATAR of 98.00+ or equivalent, you will be automatically considered for this scholarship when you apply for a Monash undergraduate degree through VTAC.

To be considered for the John Monash Scholarship for Excellence, you must:
- Be an International student
- Be a current Year 12 or International Baccalaureate in Australia
- Be intending to enrol in an undergraduate degree at a Monash campus in Australia.
- Meet the entry requirements for the course you are applying for
- Meet the English Language requirements of the univerity you are applying for.
Benefits of John Monash Scholarship 2024
- The John Monash Scholarship is worth $40,000 for selected applicants
- $10,000 per annum (48 credit points of study), up to a maximum of four years.
- An invitation to apply for a place in Monash Minds, a leadership program for first-year students.
- Recipients may be asked to participate or be profiled in relevant Monash marketing, recruitment and promotional activities.
