2024 TotalEnergies Startupper Challenge for Africans

Applications are now open for the 2024 TotalEnergies Startupper of the Year Challenge. This special edition, marking the company’s 100th anniversary, is returning to 32 African countries.

The goal of this fourth edition is to support and inspire young African entrepreneurs to innovate and realize their projects within their respective countries.

Do you own a startup that’s less than three years old or have a pioneering business idea? If so, this challenge is for you!

Eligibility Criteria for TotalEnergies Startupper Challenge 2024

• All business creation project holders and owners of startups under 3 years old with a positive impact on their communities and/or the planet can participate!
• You must be between 18 and 35 years old (born between May 1, 1988 and April 30, 2006)
• You must be a resident of the country where you apply
• You must have:
• A STARTUP
• Under 3 years old with a registration in the application country no earlier than April 30, 2020 OR
• A BUSINESS IDEA
• Which could be developed a few months after the challenge

Categories for TotalEnergies Startupper Challenge 2024

Become one of the 100 Startuppers of the year by TotalEnergies, rewarded among one of our category.

1. Innov’Up

• 1 Winner per category will be rewarded in each participating country
• 4 additional Winners will be selected by an international jury in the Power’Up category
• To reward the best entrepreneurs, should they own a startup of less than three years or come with a mature business idea.

2. Cycl’Up

• To reward startup or business ideas exemplifying the principle of circular economy.

3. Power’Up

• To reward startups or business ideas which aim to promote, create, produce or use sustainable and affordable energies.
