2025 American University of Beirut AUB Mastercard Scholarship
The American University of Beirut is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2025 AUB Mastercard Foundation Scholarship. This program is designed to empower young individuals to become agents of change within their communities, countries, and regions.
The scholarship covers full tuition, accommodation, a laptop, travel expenses, and monthly stipends. In addition to their degree courses, scholars participate in workshops, courses, and fieldwork aimed at further developing their leadership and community impact skills.

American University of Beirut Mastercard Scholarship Requirements:
To be considered for the American University of Beirut Mastercard Scholarship, you must:
- Applicants must be citizens of countries on the African continent.
- Good academic standing in the previous degree
- Talent that exceeds financial resources
- Commitment to giving back to the community, country, and region
- Have strong leadership skills
- Commitment to attend all the additional learning experiences and workshops required by the Scholars Program
- Be 35 years or younger
- Demonstration of Readiness for University Studies in English (RUSE) by June 20, 2025.
Reward for AUB Mastercard Scholarship 2025
- Full Scholarship covering tuition, accommodation, living expenses, laptop, books, travel, visa, and medical insurance.
- Scholars attend a series of workshops, courses, and fieldwork in addition to the courses for their degrees.
How to Apply for 2025 AUB Mastercard Scholarship
To apply for the 2025 AUB Mastercard Scholarship, interested applicants should:
- Step 1: Complete an AUB online graduate application and upload supporting documents by the deadline.
- Step 2: Select Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program under the Financial Opportunities section of the online graduate application.
- Step 3: Complete the AUB Financial Aid Application, which will be accessible, within 1-3 working days, after you submit your Graduate Admission Application.
- You will receive, within 1-3 days, an automated email from the financial aid office informing you of your access rights once the financial aid application has been activated.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For an application to be considered complete, applicants must have completed (1) the AUB online graduate application, (2) the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program survey, and (3) submit RUSE scores.
