How to Apply for the AMR Intervasity Training Program

The AMR Intervasity Training Program trains and supports tertiary institution students in Nigeria to fight against antimicrobial resistance.

This Program is funded by the PAR Foundation and will run for six months in three phases.

AMR Intervasity Training Program Details

Phase one includes building participants capacity on AMR, One Health, Infection Prevention and Control, Research, Global Health, Design Thinking, Project Management in Public Health, Leadership and Community Engagement, Social and Behavioral Change, et cetera.

Phase two involves pairing students with mentors and funding to establish AMR Clubs in their institutions. Mentors will also support the participants in strengthening their careers.

In phase three, teams will receive funding to conduct community engagement activities to raise awareness about AMR and reduce inappropriate use of antimicrobials.

AMR Intervasity Training Program Reward

Each team will receive €700 to support phase two and phase three.

How to Apply for AMR Intervasity Training Program

Interested students should do the following:

1. Review the Application Guide.
2. Form a team of four multidisciplinary students with a team leader.
3. The team leader should then submit the application electronically through the provided google form link.

NB: Only four teams from each geopolitical zone will be selected, and only selected teams will be contacted.
