Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB) is now welcoming applications for its International Summer Student Programme 2022. Each summer HZB offers undergraduate students the eight-week summer student programme. Students from all over the world get the chance to work on their own research projects in close cooperation with scientists.

Details about HZB Summer Student Internship in Germany 2022

The summer student programme is accomplished by site visits at the synchrotron radiation source BESSY II, laboratories for solar energy research and an accelerator producing proton beams for eye tumour therapy. The 2022 internship programme will take place from July 4 to August 29. Changes, even cancellation of the programme due to the global pandemic situation can be required.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should currently be studying for a degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, Structural Biology, Mathematics or related disciplines
The applicant should also be looking for a practical training period during July and August and interested to work in Berlin

How To Apply

Applications can only be made via the HZB online form. The handing in of a letter of reference (see form) by the end of the application period is indispensable.

The Application Deadline is February 7, 2022.
