Eligibility Criteria for Japan Government MEXT Young Leaders Program 2025

To be considered for the Japan Government YLP Scholarship, you must:

  • be citizens of eligible countries.
  • be below 40 years old as of the start date of the course.
  • meet the English Language proficiency requirements
  • have measurable work experience in the field of law, business, healthcare, or public administration.
  • Ideal candidates are:

    • Individuals with significant work experience in their respective fields.
