Jim Ovia Foundation 2024 Scholarship for Nigerian Undergraduates

Applications are now open for the 2024 Jim Ovia Foundation Scholarship, available to interested Nigerian undergraduates.

Jim Ovia Scholarship is fully funded by Mr. Jim Ovia, the CEO of Zenith Bank, covering the full tuition fees of selected candidates and providing them with a maintenance stipend of N150,000 per year until the completion of their programs.

Through our various programmes, the Jim Ovia Foundation aims to equip the future of our nation by increasing the knowledge base and skills of our youths with education and Information Communication Technology (ICT).

To date, the Jim Ovia Foundation has supported over 1,500 college students and entrepreneurs with over One billion Naira in educational and entrepreneurial grants through nationally recognized programmes- the Jim Ovia Scholarship, Jim Ovia ICT Entrepreneurs Program and most recently, the Jim Ovia Foundation Leaders Scholarship (JOFLS) Fund.

  • Be a citizen of Nigeria
  • Be currently or potentially enrolled in an accredited tertiary institution in Nigeria.
  • Have demonstrated academic excellence and leadership prowess
  • Be passionate about contributing to the society
  • Scholarships are awarded on the basis of personal intellectual ability, leadership capability and a desire to contribute to society at large to improve the lives of others.

Scholarship Benefits

Successful awardees of the 2024 Jim Ovia Foundation Scholarship will receive full support throughout the period of their undergraduate study covering;

  • Accommodation
  • Living stipends worth N150,000.00
  • Over time it is expected that the Jim Ovia Scholarship beneficiaries will become leaders in helping to address challenges related to health, technology, and finance, all areas in which the foundation is deeply engaged.

Required Documents

You will be submitting the following while applying for the 2024 Jim Ovia Foundation Scholarship;

  • Completed application form (Personal Details)
  • Recognized Government I.D
  • Passport Photograph
  • Your Official JAMB Certificate
  • Your School’s Admission Letter
  • Your official acceptance letter from the University
  • Copy of your UTME Result
  • Current Academic Calendar of your Institution (Stamped/Signed)
  • Signed & Stamped Student Copy of your CGPA Result (Medical students MUST provide a SIGNED & STAMPED copy of their most recent examination result, showing the courses, grades and the grades translated into CGPA)
  • Original Copy of your HOD’s Recommendation Letter (This letter MUST state your Current Academic Level, Current Academic Session, Current Academic Semester and Current CGPA…MUST not be older Than 4 Months)
  • Your School I.D card
  • Original Secondary School O’Level Certificate (WAEC, GCE or NECO)

How to Apply
