Theme: Designing a Game-Changing Green-Financing Solution

Participants will focus on the theme of “Designing a Game-Changing Green-Financing Solution for Africa’s Extractive Sector.” Your task is to propose solutions that address current sustainability challenges within the sector, demonstrating how green financing can be sourced and leveraged to drive these initiatives forward.

  • The competition is open to individuals or teams of up to three members, offering flexibility for both solo innovators and collaborative thinkers.

How to Apply

To participate, you need to submit a written pitch (500-700 words) that includes:

  • Participant Profile: A brief introduction of yourself or your team members, highlighting your backgrounds in sustainability, the extractive sector, or related fields.
  • Proposed Solution: A clear, practical, innovative, and scalable solution that aligns with the theme. Your proposal should demonstrate its potential for sustainable mining and how it incorporates green financing strategies relevant to Nigeria’s extractive industries
