The York University Graduate Scholarship in Canada is an opportunity offered by the Integrated Circuits and System Labs for international students seeking Masters or PhD degrees.

Dr Hossein Kassiri of the Integrated Circuits and System Labs at University of York in Canada is currently seeking fully-funded graduate students (PhD or MSc) to join his lab as soon as possible, but no later than September 2025.

The ICSL Lab in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at York University conducts research on design, development, and experimental characterization of microelectronic integrated circuits and systems for biomedical applications.

The group’s projects typically involve the development of a highly-integrated wireless system on a chip (SoC) capable of low-noise sensing, energy-efficient computation, and multi-modal actuation.

Eligibility Criteria for York University Scholarship 2025

To be considered for the York University Scholarship, you must:

• Have completed a bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Be self-motivated, talented, and creative individuals with a background and strong interest in designing analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (IC) for biomedical applications.
• Meet the admissions criteria of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at York University
• Meet the English Language requirements of the university.
