Study In China: 2023 Beijing Government Yenching Academy Scholarships for International Students
The Yenching Academy of Peking University Scholarships is open to all international students who wish to pursue a degree in China.
International students comprise roughly 80% of the student body of the total number of students enroll yearly to to study, live, and learn together.

Six distinct research areas are available at Yenching Academy to make it simpler for experts to select one. These fields of study include law and society, philosophy and religion, politics and international relations, economics and governance, history and archeology, law and society, and literature and culture.

Scholarship Requirements:
To be considered for the Scholarship, you must:
- Be an international students
- Possess minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any field
- Or currently enrolled in a degree program awarded no later than August 31, 2023
- Have an outstanding academic record
- Have strong interest in interdisciplinary study of China
- Have a record of extracurricular achievement, community engagement, social responsibility, and leadership potential
- English proficiency
Scholarship Reward
- The scholarship is fully funded with Tuition fee, Monthly stipends, Accommodation, One round-trip travel fare, and Field study costs for the successful applicants.
Required Documents
To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;
- Application Form (to be completed online)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Personal statement of 750 words or less
- Statement of Research Interest (maximum 1500 words, excluding citations)
- Two letters of recommendation
- Official transcripts
- Diploma or Certificate of Enrollment
- English requirements and minimum scores:
- IELTS (Academic): Overall 7.0
- TOEFL (iBT): Overall 100
- Cambridge English Scale (Advanced): Overall 185
- CET 6: Overall 600
- TEM 4: Pass level of “良好” or above
