Applications are now open for the 2025 Erasmus Mundus Journalism Scholarship, a master’s degree program offering a unique and truly international educational experience.

The Mundus Journalism MA programme gives you state-of-the-art insights into the current topics within journalism, media and globalisation. The Erasmus Mundus Masters in Journalism Scholarship gives you state-of-the-art insights into the current topics within journalism, media and globalisation. The scholarship also offers an amount up to €16,000 for its recipients.

The curriculum combines academic, theoretical knowledge with journalistic skills. It will improve your ability to analyse, interpret and understand the global changes that increasingly challenge traditional boundaries between media, politics, technology, and culture.

Eligibility Criteria for Erasmus Mundus Masters in Journalism Scholarship 2025

To be considered for the Erasmus Mundus Masters in Journalism Scholarship, you must:

• Have a bachelor’s degree within a relevant field of study.
• Show documentation of your English skills if you are not a native English speaker
• Have at least 3 months of journalistic experience

• After a successful submission, you will receive an automatic confirmation email.
• The application deadline for the Erasmus Mundus Journalism programme for 2025-2027 is 10 January, 2025, 23:59 Central European Time.
• You can expect to receive an email from the Mundus Journalism Consortium with the admission result on the 1st of March.
• If you are offered admission, you will be asked to confirm whether you accept the admission offer.
