The award is a scholarship worth £10000 payable over the costs of tuition and maintenance fees throughout the period of study.

The University of East Anglia is a public research university in Norwich, England. An internationally renowned university, it offers academic and social facilities of the highest quality. UEA’s Four Faculties provide research-led teaching with academic rigor in a range of subjects across the Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, and Medicine and Health Sciences.

Scholarship Details of 2022 UEA Kowitz Scholarship:

The Kowitz Scholarship is available to home and international applicants who have applied for a place on the MA Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) in the School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing. A scholarship application is required.

The Kowitz Scholarship is a highly competitive scholarship eligible for those pursuing a Master’s in the field of Creative Writing.

Scholarship Requirements for 2022 UEA Kowitz Scholarship:

  • Outstanding academic talent and potential.
  • Cannot be in receipt of any other scholarships/bursaries/awards.
  • Any Country/Region/Nationality/Country of Domicile.

Scholarship Duration and Reward

  • The Scholarship period will begin in September 2022
  • £10000 support towards tuition and maintenance fees
