With the launch of the Shoot Your Short, we are excited to start on our venture into supporting short-form documentary content. This year, DocA will be awarding grants valued at $5,000.
Eligibility Criteria for The Documentary Africa (DocA) Grants for African filmmakers 2024
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be African producers of African nationality residing on the continent.
- Have completed at least one previous film.
- Commit to completing the short film within a year from receiving the grant.
- Ensure the film is less than 20 minutes in duration.
Reward
- This year, DocA will be awarding grants valued at $5,000.
