WACSI Next Generation Internship Program | Application Guide

The West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) invites young graduates and early-career professionals from Nigeria, Senegal, and Cape Verde to apply for its Next Generation Internship Programme (NGIP).

This six-month program is designed to nurture the next generation of African leaders by offering hands-on experience in WACSI’s key focus areas: Capacity Development, Policy Influencing and Advocacy, and Knowledge Management. Interns will actively engage in WACSI’s activities, boosting their civic awareness and professional skills to address key development challenges in West Africa.

Recognizing the need for structured practical capacity-building for young West Africans, WACSI launched the Next Generation Internship Programme (NGIP) in January 2008. The program targets fresh graduates and early-career professionals from West Africa, offering them valuable work experience in WACSI’s core areas.
