The International University of Japan Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for students willing to pursue degree programs, covering tuition fees, admission costs, and an annual stipend of $11,630 to cater for living expenses.

IUJ is pleased to offer our successful applicants a variety of scholarship support to attend our degree programs. Matches are made on a competitive basis, at the time of Admissions, and based on the objectives of our various partner organizations, companies and foundations.
Below is a quick list of the types of scholarships that applicants may be matched with, both directly by IUJ, through nominations from IUJ, and by independent applications with requests to join the IUJ community.
Eligibility Requirements for 2024 IUJ Scholarship
To be considered for the International University of Japan Scholarship, applicants must:

- Be new to IUJ, enrolling as an international student
- Be active participants in support of the local community and gain a good understanding of the Japanese society
- Develop leadership skills and then contribute to the international society in a leadership role upon graduation.
- Priority for this scholarship is given to those with excellent academic performances and in financial need.
Benefits of 2024 IUJ Scholarship
The scholarships are differently based on the eligibility of the applicants and availability of the award;
Successful applicants may receive
- Full Exemption of Tuition:
- 2-year Programs: 3,200,000 yen/year
- 1-year Programs: 3,900,000 yen or
- Stipend: 100,000 yen per month

- Then start an Online Application.
In Phase 2 of the Online Application, you will find a Scholarship application to fill in. Complete and submit the Scholarship application. The Admissions Committee considers scholarship awards along with the Admissions decisions. Click on the button below to submit your application.
