Qatar University offers this scholarship to international students who apply to undergraduate programs.
Students who transfer from other universities to Qatar University, visiting students, non-degree applicants and applicants seeking a second bachelor’s degree are not eligible for academic scholarships offered by Qatar University.
Eligible candidates are invited to apply for this scholarship within the specified application period. Selection for this prestigious scholarship is based on a competitive evaluation process, where applicants are assessed on their qualifications and achievements.
Eligibility Requirements for 2024 Qatar University Scholarship
To be eligible for Qatar University Scholarship, applicants must
- have a high school certificate or its equivalent.
- have minimum high school average of 95%.
- must receive the final acceptance in the university.
- meet the admission requirements for the college that they applied to.
- The scholarship should be utilized starting from the semester in which the scholarship was awarded. The start of the study can be postponed for one semester, if necessary, conditional of approval of the scholarship committee.
- If the student does not pass his/her first semester, the scholarship will be canceled and the student will be informed by QU email.
- Applicant must have a good reputation.
- Applicant should not get benefit from this scholarship and another sponsorship/scholarship simultaneously.

Required Documents for 2024 Qatar University Scholarship
To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;
- Online application form
- Passport-size photograph
- Valid ID/ International Passport
- High School Transcripts
- Health Certificate
How to Apply for 2024 Qatar University Scholarship
To apply for the Qatar University Scholarship for undergraduates, visit the Qatar University scholarship webpage and apply for admission and scholarships online using the online admission application during the announced application period.
Your application will be evaluated after the deadline of the online scholarship application.
An initial conditional acceptance letter will be sent to you if you are nominated. After receiving admission decision from the university, the university will apply for visas and the students will be notified accordingly.
The final admission and scholarship decisions will be sent to the students by email according to the announced timeline.
Please note that international students must submit the original high school transcript and required documents during the application period.
