2022 THRIVE Global Impact Challenge for Innovative Startups

Applications are open for the THRIVE Global Impact Challenge 2022. The THRIVE Global Impact Challenge is a global search for the most innovative startups advancing a more sustainable future for agriculture.

Aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, the Global Impact Challenge is focused on three key themes each one central to supporting the transition to a net-zero future for agriculture.

  • Finalists from each theme will advance to the finals and pitch at the THRIVE Sustainability Summit where the overall winner will be announced.
  • The Winning company receives the THRIVE Global Impact Challenge Award and a place on the award-winning THRIVE Global Accelerator Program in Silicon Valley. In addition the winner will also receive:

Eligibility

Startups should be Seed to Series A with technologies focused in the following areas:

  • Soil health & Biodiversity
    1. Alternative pesticides & herbicides
    2. Crop nutrition & novel inputs
  • Increasing food security
    1. Alternative proteins
    2. Food loss prevention
    3. Circular economy
    4. Indoor farming
    5. Supply chain solutions
    6. Packaging
    7. Functional Ingredients.
  • Reducing and offsetting emissions
    1. Carbon sequestration
    2. Carbon measurement
    3. Carbon markets
    4. Reducing animal emissions and animal cruelty
    5. Robotics & automation
    6. On-farm emissions reduction.

Applications will be accepted until August 26, 2022. Late applications will not be considered.
