Eligibility Requirements for 2024 University of Trieste Scholarship
To be considered for the University of Trieste Scholarship, you must:
- possess a bachelor’s degree in related field
- meet the entry requirements of the University of Trieste
- apply before the deadline
- PhD scholarships are assigned based on a comparative evaluation of merit and following the ranking order.
- Where two or more candidates score the same in the selection process, the one with the lowest family income (known as ISEE) will get preference.
- Scholarships cannot be granted to students who have been awarded a doctoral scholarship before, even partially, and cannot be combined with other grants.
- Along with the ordinary scholarships, a doctoral Programme may offer scholarships funded by the European Union or other international bodies.

- Annual Stipend: €16,243 (gross of national insurance contributions), paid in monthly installments.
- Research Abroad: Up to 50% increase in stipend for research conducted abroad for at least 60 uninterrupted days.

- Research Support: Additional resources for industry-aligned research projects.
