University of Edinburgh Global Online Scholarship 2024
The University of Edinburgh is awarding twenty Masters scholarships specifically designed for part-time distance learning Masters programmes.

The University of Edinburgh’s Global Online Distance Learning Masters Scholarships will cover your full tuition fees and will be tenable for the normal duration of the programme of study, providing a significant financial reprieve and enabling focused academic pursuits.
Scholarship Requirements:
To apply for the Edinburgh Global Online Scholarship, you must;
- Be commencing any online part-time learning Master’s programme offered by the University in session 2024-2025.
- Be nationals and residents of one of the Eligible Countries
- Already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the strength of a personal statement. Priority will be given to those who have not had the opportunity to study at masters level previously.
Scholarship Duration and Reward
Each scholarship will cover full tuition fees and will be tenable for the normal duration of the programme of study.

Applicants will be asked to include the following within their personal statement: Within your personal statement please include:
- the specific elements of this programme that attracted you to the University of Edinburgh;
- confirm how successful completion of this programme will benefit your career and personal development and
- how this will enable you to contribute to your community/region or country?
How To Apply for Edinburgh Global Online Scholarship 2024
Applicants must have applied for admission to one of the online programmes at the University of Edinburgh. Please note that, following the submission of an application for admission, it can take up to five working days for all system checks to be completed and for access to be granted.
You must receive at least a conditional offer for admission before proceding to apply for the scholarship. The online scholarship application form is located in EUCLID and can be accessed via MyEd- the web based information portal.
When logging in to MyEd, you will need your University Username and password. If you require assistance, please go to http://www.ed.ac.uk/student-systems/support-guidance.
All applicants will be notified of the outcome by mid-July 2024.
