Study In USA: 2022 Woodbridge N. Ferris Scholarships at Ferris State University

Ferris State University is offering 7 series of scholarship opportunities under the Woodbridge N. Ferris Scholarship to high achieving students who are passionate about studying a degree program at the Institution.

If you are an international student who is entering college for the first time, Ferris State University is pleased to offer the Woodbridge N. Ferris Scholarship opportunities. These scholarships are automatically awarded to students who are academically eligible.

Scholarships will be based on the highest submitted ACT Composite score (which includes English, math, reading and science) or the SAT combined score (reading and math, NOT writing) on a single test date. Components from different test dates may not be combined into a “SuperScore” for FSU scholarship purposes.

Woodbridge N. Ferris Scholarships

  • FOUNDER’S SCHOLARSHIP

Value – Up to $10,000 per year/$40,000 for four years
GPA requirement: 3.9/4.0
Test requirement: 31 ACT, 1350* SAT, 96 TOEFL,7.5 IELTS, or 120 Duolingo
Renewal cumulative GPA: 3.3

  • PRESIDENT’S SCHOLARSHIP

Value – $6,000 per year/$24,000 for four years
GPA requirement: 3.7/4.0
Test requirement: 29 ACT, 1300* SAT, 88 TOEFL, 7.0 IELTS, or 115 Duolingo
Renewal cumulative GPA: 3.3

  • PROVOST’S SCHOLARSHIP

Value – $4,500 per year/$18,000 for four years
GPA requirement: 3.5/4.0
Test requirement: 26 ACT, 1210* SAT, 80 TOEFL, 6.5 IELTS, or 110 Duolingo
Renewal cumulative GPA: 3.0

  • DEAN’S SCHOLARSHIP

Value – $3,500 per year/$14,000 for four years
GPA requirement: 3.4/4.0
Test requirement: 24 ACT, 1140* SAT, 74 TOEFL, 6.5 IELTS, or 105 Duolingo
Renewal cumulative GPA: 3.0

  • FERRIS GOLD SCHOLARSHIP

Value – $2,000 per year/$8,000 for four years
GPA requirement: 3.25/4.0
Test requirement: 22 ACT, 1080* SAT, 67 TOEFL, 6.0 IELTS, or 100 Duolingo
Renewal cumulative GPA: 2.75

  • FERRIS CRIMSON SCHOLARSHIP

Value – $1,500 per year/ $6,000 for four years
GPA requirement: 3.0/4.0
Test requirement: 21 ACT, 1040* SAT, 65 TOEFL, 6.0 IELTS, or 95 Duolingo
Renewal cumulative GPA: 2.75

* Evidenced-Based Reading & Writing Section and Math Section SAT score after March 1, 2016

International Transfer Scholarship

If you are a new international student who is transferring to Ferris State University, you may be eligible for the International Transfer Scholarship listed below.

FERRIS INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIP (CANADIAN STUDENTS DO NOT PAY THE INTERNATIONAL TUITION RATE, THEREFORE ARE INELIGIBLE FOR THE INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIP)

  • $5,500 per year/ $16,500 for three years
  • Criteria: 3.3 Cumulative Transfer GPA and 12 accepted Credit Hours
  • Requires full-time enrollment (minimum 12 credit hours)
  • For students enrolled in undergraduate programs only
  • The purpose of this award is to help offset the difference between the Michigan resident tuition rate and the International student tuition rate
