The Federal Ministry of Education is pleased to announce the 2024 Federal Government Bursary Award for qualified Nigerian students of tertiary institutions.
The FSB Bursary Award annually offers a cash award of N150,000.00 to all selected applicants who are registered students of either universities or Nigerian colleges of education.

The scholarship is open to students from the country’s registered universities and colleges of education in their second year of study or above, with no hindrance to students with disabilities.
Eligibility Requirements
- be a registered student studying Education in Nigerian Colleges of Education and Universities.
- must be full-time student of these institutions.
- All applicants including Persons with disabilities must be in their second year or above
- must not be a beneficiary of any subsisting scholarship
Benefits
- N150,000 fund awarded each year to all beneficiaries of the scholarship.
- Renewable every year until the beneficiary graduates from the college or university he is studying at.
Required Documents
To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;
- Letter of Admission to the Institution
- State of origin certificate
- National Identity Number
- CGPA Result (Academic Transcript)

To apply for the FSB Bursary Award, visit Federal Ministry of Education’s website, click on Federal Scholarship Board ICON on the Home Page, Select Federal Education Bursary Award (EBA), then Complete the Application Form online.
Ensure you print the completed application form for reference purposes. Note that double Entries will be disqualified!
