Launched by KidsRights during the 2005 World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Rome, this prestigious award has since honored young changemakers dedicated to enhancing children’s rights.
Presented annually by a Nobel Peace Laureate, the prize not only bestows eternal recognition but also provides a global platform for these remarkable individuals to amplify their initiatives.

Prize Benefits:
The winner receives:
- The prestigious Nkosi Statuette.
- The Desmund Tutu study and care fund for education.
- A Project Fund of €100,000 invested by KidsRights.
Funds support children’s rights projects aligned with the winner’s area of impact.
