Egbude graduated with first-class honors in Law from Afe Babalola University in Nigeria, and was then inducted as a barrister and solicitor of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. After law school, Egbude became deeply involved in the world of public policy.

In a LinkedIn post, Egbude expressed her excitement about the opportunity to study at Cambridge, and her eagerness to further expand her influence and expertise in public policy.
