As a Human Rights Consultant, you will play a crucial role in contributing to donor project preparation, implementation, and reporting.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining communication with the Special Rapporteur, providing technical advice on human rights issues, monitoring the situation of economic, social, cultural, and environmental rights (ESCER), preparing reports and media campaigns, organizing events and dialogues, and collaborating with civil society organizations and public officers.
Juris Doctor or Bachelor’s degree in law, international public law, or human rights (or related field)
Five years of relevant experience (or Advanced University Degree with 3 years of experience)
Knowledge of international legal standards related to ESCER and human rights law
Fluency in either Spanish or English, with proficiency in the other language (working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is desirable)
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
