Ashinaga is dedicated to providing educational and emotional support for orphaned students worldwide. Our mission extends to children facing various challenges, such as illness, disasters, and loss of parents due to suicide, in addition to those in families where parents are unable to work sufficiently due to disabilities.
We achieve this through scholarships, educational support, and mental health care.
The Ashinaga Internship Program is an opportunity for individuals worldwide to contribute to our cause. We believe in fostering a diverse and international team to transform Ashinaga into an all-embracing, global NGO.
With over 400 interns from more than 90 universities across the globe, our program has successfully integrated minds from various backgrounds.

Program Structure
The internship program offers a hybrid structure for interns based in Japan and a remote structure for those residing in other countries.
This allows flexibility and accessibility, ensuring that passionate individuals worldwide can contribute to Ashinaga’s mission.
Program Duration
The program lasts between 13 May – 19 July 2024
There’s also the possibility of extending the internship till 13 September 2024, depending on the intern’s performance and team needs.
Interns will collaborate with diverse teams at our Tokyo headquarters, working part-time (~20 hours per week) on projects guided by dedicated team supervisors.

Program Benefits
- Lunch stipend of 1,000 JPY/working day
- Work-related travel expenses (for interns currently living in Japan only)
