The African Liberty Writing Fellowship 2024/2025
The African Liberty Writing Fellowship is for any young African who is passionate about shaping public discourse and influencing policy through the power of words.
This fellowship program offers a year-long opportunity to delve into the world of opinion article writing, preparing you for a career in academia, media, public policy, or any other critical analytical field.
Eligibility
Applicants must be enrolled in or have graduated from an African institution of higher learning, or be Africans pursuing higher education outside the continent.
Submission Guidelines
- Late submissions will not be considered.
- Accepted applicants will undergo a five-week mandatory online training, starting from May 21, 2024, to June 18, 2024.
- The writing fellowship program commences on July 8, 2024, and concludes on April 30, 2025.
- Applicants must adhere to the guidelines provided during the application process.
