Theirworld Global Youth Ambassador Programme 2024
The GYA programme is the go-to hub for young changemakers passionate about ensuring quality education for every child. It is a two-year programme designed to help you develop as an education activist.
You will join an active network of 2,000 young people around the world and be encouraged to take advantage of all the opportunities that this community has to offer.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, you must meet the following conditions:
- Be 18-28 years old at the time of application
- Be passionate about improving access to education and youth skills
- To be able to get the most out of the programme you will need:
- A basic understanding of English (verbal and written). This is important as all email/social media correspondence is in English
- To have regular access to the internet
Benefits
- There are different ways that they can support you through your two-year journey. For any opportunities that they offer you such as public speaking, letter writing or interviews, you will be fully supported both before and after the event to ensure you are confident with the process and able to enjoy the experience.
- They also love hearing the latest updates on our GYAs’ projects and activities. By giving you a platform through their newsletter and social media they can support you in sharing your projects, uplifting your voice and finding you new opportunities for you to grow as a changemaker.
- There are loads of resources that are made available to GYAs, including training, reports and webinars. It’s up to you how much you take advantage of everything there is on offer.
- If GYAs are invited by them to represent Theirworld at an event, they will cover all reasonable expenses.
