Students receive their IMES when they enter their first year at UBC, and the scholarships are renewable for up to three additional years of study.

The number and level of these scholarships awarded each year vary, depending on available funding.
Scholarship Requirements:
You can apply if you:
- have applied to start one of the qualifying accounting and finance MSc programmes in September 2023
- MSc Accounting and Finance
- MSc Accounting, Finance and Management
- MSc Banking, Regulation and Financial Stability
- MSc Finance and Investment
- are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes.
Scholarship Duration and Reward
Four scholarships of £13,000 and eight scholarships of £6,500 per year are available.
These awards must be used towards the cost of tuition fees for a one-year Accounting and Finance related master’s programme in the Business School.
