Imperial College London Shawki Saad Scholarship 2024
The Shawki Saad Scholarship is a fully funded programme to support students ordinarily resident in Sub-Saharan Africa. The programme is funded by a generous endowed gift from the late Professor Shawki Saad, with one scholarship awarded each year between 2023-2026.
The Imperial College London Shawki Saad Scholarship will fully cover the cost of overseas tuition fees for 3 years, maintenance stipends of £20,622 for 3.5 years, and travel costs (flight and visa) for the successful applicant.
The student prize and scholarship will help the College efforts to tackle global systemic challenges in engineering and sustainability.

- Be a sub-Saharan African student
- Hold a Bachelors degree
- Be applying to study for a PhD at the Imperial College London
- Meet the requirements for a PhD degree at the college

Online applications should only be submitted after a potential academic supervisor has expressed sufficient interest in your application.
