You must be enrolled in one of the under-listed courses at a Nigerian university to qualify for the Agbami Scholarship:

  • Medicine & Surgery
  • Dentistry
  • Medical Lab Sciences
  • Nursing
  • Pharmacy
  • Engineering

In most universities where the grading system is based on a scale of 0.1 to 5.0, the minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) that the Agbami scholarship board expects of its students is 3.5. Students whose CGPA is below this point may have difficulty passing the application and selection process.

Requirements for Agbami Scholarship

Every scholarship application procedure is governed by guidelines that require applicants to provide particular documents to demonstrate their eligibility. In the case of the Agbami Scholarship, you must take note of the following documents before attempting to apply for the Scholarship, as they will qualify you to be able to apply.

  • A passport photo with a white backdrop at least three months old is 450 by 450 pixels. (maximum size: 200 kb)
  • Birth certificate
  • School ID card
  • Admission letter
  • Birth certificate
  • O’level result
  • JAMB results and
  • Local government area letter of identification

For students in their first and second years at Nigeria tertiary institutions who are eligible, this Agbami scholarship application program is worth NGN100,000, and for medical students, it’s worth NGN200,000.

How To Apply

How may a Nigerian student apply for the Agbami scholarship? Well, to apply, simply complete the following prompts:

  • Visit the portal once the application begins (join us on WhatsApp to be notified)
  • When requested to upload documents, ensure you attach the correct files and name them properly to prevent document confusion.
  • To register for an account or sign in to your scholastic account, click on register/login. The next step for new applicants is to access their emails and activate their accounts.
  • Click on scholastica.ng/schemes/agbami when your account has been activated.
  • You must first enter your email and password before uploading any files.
  • Enter your name, address, national identification number (if applicable), and information about your education and other factors, and then upload scanned copies of your papers.
  • If the names on your papers differ, please provide an affidavit or certificate.
  • After uploading your papers, double-check them to ensure there are no mistakes.
  • Whenever a passport photo is requested, upload it.
  • To fix any mistakes, double-check your application and return to the homepage. Click “apply now” after selecting the program you want to apply for.
  • You will see a message on your screen if your application is successful. If you are still unsure, however, you may click “my application” in your profile account’s “my account” area.
  • To get your verification profile, go back to scholastica.ng and input your email and password. Then, have your department’s head of department sign the document.
  • The signed verification profile can then be uploaded as a scanned copy and used for verification.
  • To complete the application, go back to scholastica.ng/schemes/agbami and enter the National Identification Number (NIN).
