The Fulbright Foreign Student Program for Lebanon enables successful applicants to pursue graduate-level study in the United States.
Participants are chosen through an open, merit-based competition in which leadership potential, academic excellence, and the ability to adjust to life in the United States.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Fulbright Foreign Student Program for Lebanon 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Lebanese citizen or a holder of the Special Travel Document for Palestinian Refugees issued by the Lebanese Government.
- Residence in Lebanon throughout the application, selection and placement process.
- Two years of professional work experience if applying to MBA programs. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by June 2025.
- Strong academic background.
- Applicants with low proficiency in English will have to attend a Long-Term English (LTE) program prior to the start of the study program if deemed necessary.

How to Apply
Interested applicants for the Fulbright Foreign Student Program for Lebanon are to submit their application through the online system and submit the following supporting documents:
- Completed online application.
- Official university transcripts; In case applicants are unable to secure official transcripts, an unofficial copy must be provided instead (see transcript samples).
- Up-to-date CV detailing all prior education, work experience and extracurricular activities (see how to prepare your CV).
- Three letters of reference, in English, submitted online along with the application (See academic Reference Letter Templates by University of Calgary).
- Copy of passport biodata and photo page.
- Two essays in English, up to 600 words each in length: A personal statement and A study objective essay related to your field of study (See essay guides, personal statements and others)
