2023 Chicago Booth Stigler Center Journalists in Residence Programme (Stipend of $12,000)

With the aim of shaping the next generation of leaders in business reporting, the Stigler Center launched the Journalists in Residence Program in 2017. The program provides a transformative learning experience for journalists working in all forms of media worldwide. Participants spend approximately 12 weeks on their Hyde Park campus, auditing classes, participating in Stigler Center events, collaborating with peers, and networking with the university’s scholars.

2022 JournalismEU Professional Development Grants for Environmental Journalism (€85,000 total grant)

This grant facility supports enabling activities and supporting services for environmental investigative journalism as a whole. It seeks to promote collective development and support services for environmental investigative journalism by providing funding to project ideas from organisations and institutions for training and professional development programmes, i.e. skills-focused professional training or fellowship programmes targeted at enabling investigative journalists to upskill with regards to reporting on environment-related issues.
